Cemetery & Parks Meeting

The meeting was opened at 7:20PM present were Tubby Boucher, Ray Boyes, Roger Ropoza, Pam Haman.

Bills were reviewed and approved.
Minutes from the May 19, 2017 meeting were reviewed and approved.
Correspondence: End of the year instruction from Town Accountant and Treasurer.
Deeds: Approved and signed.

Discuss:
Howard Park: Trails will be checked over the summer with repair work and brush trimming done as needed...
Adams Dam: Continued discussion on how to best restore/maintain area along with river consideration. Clean up of debris and trees. Possibly work with Mass Wildlife. Pam will get information from the assessor’s office to determine ownership.
Purchase of truck: The Department has $15,000 approved at Town meeting for the purchase of a used truck. It would primarily be used to go between cemeteries and parks. Single wheel plow is not necessary but if there is one great. Roger researching best options.
Superintendents Report:
Changed of status to be approved and turned into town hall.
E mail was received from Mark Mercurio that Shepherds Landscaping will taking over grounds keeping The Department will only need to mow Hart Library, field behind town hall and leeching field in front of library.
Cemetery projects to include re pave Hillside.
Next Meeting scheduled for July 10 at 7PM.
